Task Force Spartan Visits Air Defense Artillery Site

CAMP BUERHING, KUWAIT — Members of Task Force Spartan’s 29th Infantry Division recently toured a Patriot Air Defense Artillery Site here to obtain an on-the-ground capabilities briefing of Air Defense Artillery capabilities.

AL UDEID AIR BASE, Qatar — In their quest to impose their will on others with malicious and destructive intent, ISIS have exerted their negative messages continuously through the use of media platforms like radio, television, newspapers, magazines and the internet.

Day Zero: Journey to earn Air Assault wings

CAMP BUEHRING, Kuwait — Hundreds of Soldiers, Airmen and Marines came from miles away to fulfill a dream. Their journey is not easy, it requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to handle heavy equipment, while under duress. Thus, upon successful completion of day zero, candidates can then call themselves ‘Air Assault Students.’

Greywolf Troopers train with international partners, build interoperability

Ross, Porter Commanding Officers Receive Phone Calls from President Trump

MEDITERRANEAN SEA (NNS) — On April 9, the commanding officers of Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyers USS Ross (DDG 71) and USS Porter (DDG 78) received phone calls from President Donald J. Trump.

U.S. Strike Designed to Deter Assad Regime’s Use of Chemical Weapons

WASHINGTON — The Syrian airbase targeted in the U.S. missile strike is believed to be where Syrian President Bashar Assad regime aircraft took off for a deadly chemical attack against civilians, senior military officials told reporters at the Pentagon.

Partner Nations and U.S. Show Off Special Forces Ability

KUWAIT — Part of 77th Combat Aviation Brigade’s mission, throughout the nine-month deployment to the Middle East, involves the continued development and fostering of relations with partner nations' helicopter units for U.S. Army Central Command. Operation Eagle Resolve is, in part, a culmination of those efforts.

Trump Orders Missile Attack in Retaliation for Syrian Chemical Strikes

WASHINGTON — The United States fired Tomahawk missiles into Syria in retaliation for the regime of Bashar Assad using nerve agents to attack his own people.

Residents Returning to Normal Lives in Eastern Mosul, OIR Spokesman Says

WASHINGTON — Thousands of residents of eastern Mosul have returned home and “the Iraqi government is working hard every day to improve the quality of life," the Combined Joint Task Force Operation Inherent Resolve spokesman said.

KUWAIT - Elite military special operations forces from the Gulf Cooperation Council,  and the U.S. conducted a simulated rapid response to the hijacking of the motor tanker, or oil tanker, the Hadiyah, April 3, in Kuwait territorial waters. Special forces teams from the GCC, and U.S. Naval Special Warfare and rigid-hull inflatable boat teams simulated an air and sea-borne rapid insertion, search and seizure of the occupied tanker and its hijackers, and the safe release of the tanker crewmen. The raid was a cumulative joint exercise that tested the participants’ tactical skills and abilities to operate cohesively in an operational mission with our GCC partner nations. Exercise Eagle Resolve is the premier U.S. multilateral exercise within the Arabian Peninsula. Since 1999, Eagle Resolve has become the leading engagement between the U.S. and GCC nations to collectively address the regional challenges associated with asymmetric warfare in a low-risk setting.
