211208-N-OC333-2111 NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY BAHRAIN (Dec. 8, 2021) From the left, Fred Paris, law enforcement co-director of Regional Narcotics Interagency Fusion Cell (RNIFC), Roddy Drummond, U.K. Ambassador to Bahrain, Vice Adm. Brad Cooper, commander of U.S. Naval Forces Central Command (NAVCENT), U.S. 5th Fleet and Combined Maritime Forces (CMF), William J. Warren Jr., Middle East regional director of the Drug Enforcement Agency and Maggie Nardi, charge d’affaires, U.S. Embassy to Bahrain, meet during a ribbon cutting ceremony for the opening of the new interagency counter narcotics facility at Naval Support Activity Bahrain, Dec. 8. The facility will be operated by the RNIFC, a joint Department of Defense and law enforcement team established seven years ago and comprised of personnel from NAVCENT, CMF, and law enforcement agency partners to support maritime and land drug interdiction operations.
