PSAB hosts joint air defense training with RSAF forces
U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. Larry Broadwell, 380th Air Expeditionary Wing commander, straps in to fly an E-3 Sentry aircraft assigned to the 968th Expeditionary Airborne Air Control Squadron at Al Dhafra Air Base, United Arab Emirates, May 19, 2021. The E-3 crew participated in Desert Mirage III – the third iteration of a bilateral event designed to enhance the interoperability and air defense capabilities between partner nation forces in the region. The AWACS, assigned to the 380th AEW, delivered all-weather surveillance and direct information needed for interdiction, reconnaissance, airlift, and close-air support to joint and Royal Saudi Air Force aircraft during the training.
