210413-N-NO712-1115 ARABIAN SEA (April 13, 2021) - U.S. Navy F/A-18F and F/A-18E Super Hornet fighter jets, an E-2C Hawkeye tactical airborne early warning aircraft and French Marine Nationale Dassault Rafale fighter jets fly in formation during dual carrier operations between the aircraft carriers USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) and FS Charles de Gaulle (R 91) in the Arabian Sea, April 13. The Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and Pacific through the western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
