ARABIAN GULF (Sept. 28, 2020) - The guided-missile cruiser USS Princeton (CG 59) fires its Mark 45 5-inch gun during a live-fire exercise in the Arabian Gulf, Sept. 28. This Syrian-born U.S. Soldier is using his background to save lives
U.S. Army Spc. Fadi Mallouhi, computer/detection systems repairer with Headquarters Support Company, 628th Aviation Support Battalion, 28th Expeditionary Combat Aviation Brigade, poses for a photo at an airfield in the 28th ECAB’s area of operations in the Middle East. Mallouhi, originally from the Allentown, Pennsylvania area, spent much of his childhood in Syria and passes valuable lessons about the language and culture to his fellow Soldiers.
