New recruits from the Maghaweir al-Thowra’s (MaT), a Coalition aligned security force, create a human pyramid during an obstacle course Sept. 22, 2019 in Southwest Asia. This was part of a basic training course for 47 new recruits, which included weapons and tactical training and an obstacle course. In conjunction with partner forces, Coalition defeats Daesh in designated areas of Iraq and Syria and sets conditions for follow-on operations to increase regional stability. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt.
