Peshmerga forces train to counter IED threat

Peshmerga police conduct detect and defeat training to identify and properly disrupt IEDs commonly found on the battlefield. The Italian Army Mobile Training Team from the Kurdistan Training Coordination Center oversaw the training. Combined Joint Task Force- Operation Inherent Resolve training programs include courses in areas as diverse as operational planning, counter-terrorism, logistics and sustainment, equipment maintenance, counter-IED techniques and law enforcement.
