1st Lt. Benjamin Feithen, a Soldier with Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 3rd Battalion 320th Field Artillery Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Ky., gives a one-on-one explanation of his duties to senior leaders of the Kazakhstan Ground Forces July 25. The purpose of their visit was to observe and discuss best practices regarding the nature of command relationships, the roles and responsibilities of officers and senior noncommissioned officers on the brigade and battalion staff, the employment and sustainment of light infantry units in support of multinational operations with an anticipation of improving operations of their ground forces in Kazakhstan.
