1st SFAB advises ANDSF at JRTC

Zachary Downey, a combat advisor team medic assigned to 2nd Battalion, 1st Security Force Assistance Brigade and Columbus, Ohio native, prepares to evacuate a simulated casualty during the unit’s rotation at the Joint Readiness Training Center at Fort Polk, La., Jan. 15, 2018. The JRTC rotation was conducted in order to prepare the newly formed 1st SFAB for an upcoming deployment to Afghanistan in the spring of 2018.
