French, U.S. military kick off Alligator Dagger
171214-M-QL632-004 DJIBOUTI, Djibouti (Dec. 14, 2017) – U.S. Marines and French military forces receive instructions prior to engaging in Alligator Dagger, a bilateral combat rehearsal. Alligator Dagger, led by Naval Amphibious Force, Task Force 51/5th Marine Expeditionary Expedition Brigade, is a dedicated, bilateral combat rehearsal that combines U.S. and French forces to practice, rehearse and exercise integrated capabilities available to U.S. Central Command both afloat and ashore.
