KC-135s support Italian A-11 mission
An Italian Air Force A-11 Ghibli receives fuel from a KC-135 Stratotanker assigned to the 340th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron during a mission in support of Operation Inherent Resolve Aug. 4, 2017. Italy plays a key role supporting the Coalition’s military operations through air capabilities based in Kuwait: one KC-767 aerial refueling aircraft, one unmanned Predator surveillance aircrafts, four AMX aircrafts for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance operations and an integrated multi-sensory exploitation cell.
