CSM Jones Visits Besmaya, Iraq
A Coalition trainer from Spain teaches members of the Iraqi Security Forces (ISF) how to pull security during training at the Besmaya Building Partner Capacity site November, 2016. Training at the building partner capacity sites is an integral part of Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve’s multinational effort to train ISF personnel to defeat the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. The mission of Operation Inherent Resolve is to defeat Da’esh (an Arabic acronym for ISIL) in Iraq and Syria by supporting the Government of Iraq with trainers, advisors and fire support, to include aerial strikes and artillery fire.
