MANAMA, Bahrain (June 1, 2017) Vice Adm. Louis-Michel Guillaume, left, commander of French Submarine and Strategic Oceanic Forces, Vice Adm. Kevin M. U.K., France and U.S. Sign Trilateral Submarine Agreement

MANAMA, Bahrain -- Naval leaders from the United Kingdom, France and the United States signed an agreement June 1 designed to increase coordination for anti-submarine warfare activities of the three countries as they operate in the 5th Fleet area of operations.

CENTCOM EOD teams link up for joint service field training

Iraqi sniper training assisted by coalition

MOSUL, IRAQ — In the midst of operations by Iraqi security forces to liberate the city of Mosul from ISIS, U.S. Army Paratroopers, deployed in support of Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve, have been leveraging their skills to assist the Iraqis with their new Federal Police sniper training program.

Spokesman Reports on Progress in Effort to Defeat ISIS

WASHINGTON — Iraqi forces are closing in on the final terrorist-held areas in western Mosul, while partnered forces in Syria are just a few kilometers from the key city of Raqqa, the spokesman for Combined Joint Task Force Operation Inherent Resolve said.

U.S. Central Command and Tajikistan review security cooperation

Tampa, Fla. — On May 22-24, 2017, military officers from CENTCOM and the Republic of Tajikistan Ministry of Defense held the 2017 combined Tajikistan-U.S. consultative staff talks (CST).

KABUL, Afghanistan (May 31, 2017) — General John Nicholson, Resolute Support commander, RS Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Jurgen Weigt, and RS Command Sergeant Major David M. Resolute Support leadership visits blast site, stands with emergency responders

KABUL, Afghanistan — After a deadly terrorist attack on innocent civilians here today, General John Nicholson, commander of Resolute Support, visited the blast site to survey the damage and support emergency responders.
