1st SFAB Soldiers curate innovative training videos
Sgt. Roque Torres, 1st Security Force Assistance Brigade, checks the oil on an Afghan Humvee as part of a training video being produced at Forward Operating Base Lightning, Afghanistan, Oct. 12. Torres and two other soldiers from the 1st Security Force Assistance Brigade headquarters are training the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (Army and Police) in an innovative way to conduct preventive maintenance on vehicles. Using the video recording capability from either a laptop computer or smart phone, these Soldiers ultimately end up with a training video showing Afghans exactly what they need to do to keep vehicles maintained.
