1st Brigade, 215th Corps soldiers end artillery course with a bang
An Afghan National Army soldier with 1st Brigade, 215th Corps fires a 122mm howitzer D-30 prior during a live-fire training event at Camp Shorabak, Afghanistan, Dec. 5, 2017. The event concluded an eight-week artillery training course, which brought together more than 25 soldiers from the brigade to enhance their fire support capabilities. Led by U.S. Marine advisors with Task Force Southwest, the students will use their artillery skills to support infantry units during combat operations in Helmand province.
