USARCENT CG visits Lebanon
Lt. Gen. Michael Garrett, commanding general, U.S. Army Central, accepts a gift on behalf of USARCENT from Lt. Gen. Joseph Aoun, Chief of Defense, Lebanese Armed Forces, during an office call at the Lebanese Armed Forces Headquarters in Beirut July 14, 2017. Lebanon is one of twenty countries in the USARCENT area of operations Garrett visits to improve relationships, access and partner capacity. The LAF are partners with USARCENT and visits such as this strengthen relationships, interoperability and shapes and sets the theater to support operations and deter adversaries.
