Iraqi sniper training assisted by coalition

MOSUL, IRAQ — In the midst of operations by Iraqi security forces to liberate the city of Mosul from ISIS, U.S. Army Paratroopers, deployed in support of Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve, have been leveraging their skills to assist the Iraqis with their new Federal Police sniper training program.

Spokesman Reports on Progress in Effort to Defeat ISIS

WASHINGTON — Iraqi forces are closing in on the final terrorist-held areas in western Mosul, while partnered forces in Syria are just a few kilometers from the key city of Raqqa, the spokesman for Combined Joint Task Force Operation Inherent Resolve said.

U.S. Central Command and Tajikistan review security cooperation

Tampa, Fla. — On May 22-24, 2017, military officers from CENTCOM and the Republic of Tajikistan Ministry of Defense held the 2017 combined Tajikistan-U.S. consultative staff talks (CST).

KABUL, Afghanistan (May 31, 2017) — General John Nicholson, Resolute Support commander, RS Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Jurgen Weigt, and RS Command Sergeant Major David M. Clark visit the blast site after the deadly attack that occurred here today to survey the damage and support emergency.
