Operation Epic Fury

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) commenced Operation Epic Fury at the direction of the President of the United States. CENTCOM forces are striking targets to dismantle the Iranian regime's security apparatus, prioritizing locations that pose an imminent threat.

Joshua Meyers, plans officer for the 181st Light Support Battalion, 81st Mobile Brigade Combat Team, discusses the importance of the casing of the colors ceremony and the brigade’s transition to a Mobile Brigade Combat Team at the Seattle Armory in Seattle, Wash. May 2, 2026. The transformation replaces Stryker armored vehicles with Infantry Squad Vehicles, creating a lighter, more agile and mobile force while maintaining the brigade’s ability to support infantry battalions and deliver combat-ready sustainment capabilities.
