Operation Epic Fury

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) commenced Operation Epic Fury at the direction of the President of the United States. CENTCOM forces are striking targets to dismantle the Iranian regime's security apparatus, prioritizing locations that pose an imminent threat.

Meininger, 35th Fighter Wing command chief, participated in a Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (SERE) water survival skills course during a Wild Weasel Walk-Through at Misawa Air Base, Japan. SERE specialists on-station ensure all pilots are equipped and informed on how to survive extended periods of time across various environments, ultimately ensuring they have the knowledge and capabilities to return home.
