Operation Epic Fury

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) commenced Operation Epic Fury at the direction of the President of the United States. CENTCOM forces are striking targets to dismantle the Iranian regime's security apparatus, prioritizing locations that pose an imminent threat.

U.S. Marines with 1st Combat Engineer Battalion, 1st Marine Division, assigned to Joint Task Force-Southern Border (JTF-SB), train Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 7, 1st Marine Logistics Group, assigned to JTF-SB, on ladder operations for barrier reinforcement in Nogales, Ariz., April 6, 2026. Marines learn proper procedures for installing concertina wire using ladders on mock barriers to prepare for less permissive terrain.
