Operation Epic Fury

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) commenced Operation Epic Fury at the direction of the President of the United States. CENTCOM forces are striking targets to dismantle the Iranian regime's security apparatus, prioritizing locations that pose an imminent threat.

The Capsule Parachute Assembly System (CPAS) of the Orion Space Capsule was rigorously evaluated at U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground in multiple developmental tests between 2011 and 2018. The Orion's first crewed flight is scheduled to occur in an opportune launch window between February and April 2026.
