Operation Epic Fury

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) commenced Operation Epic Fury at the direction of the President of the United States. CENTCOM forces are striking targets to dismantle the Iranian regime's security apparatus, prioritizing locations that pose an imminent threat.

Gunnery Sgt. Robert Navarro, an Infantry Unit Leader assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron, Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, received the Gunnery Sgt. Carlos Hathcock II Award on MCAS Iwakuni, Japan, Nov. 4, 2025. The award is presented annually to the Marine who best exemplifies Hathcock's legacy: a standard of professionalism and excellence in marksmanship.
