Operation Epic Fury

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) commenced Operation Epic Fury at the direction of the President of the United States. CENTCOM forces are striking targets to dismantle the Iranian regime's security apparatus, prioritizing locations that pose an imminent threat.

Soldiers of Headquarters and Headquarters Company “Hoplites,” 2nd Battalion, 34th Armored Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, conduct mortar training and evaluation at Bucierz Range, Drawsko Pomorskie Training Area, Poland, Aug. 26, 2021. The 2-34 is currently deployed on a nine-month rotation to Poland in support of Atlantic Resolve, which is evidence of the strong and unremitting U.S. commitment to NATO and Europe.
