U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) commenced Operation Epic Fury at the direction of the President of the United States. CENTCOM forces are striking targets to dismantle the Iranian regime's security apparatus, prioritizing locations that pose an imminent threat.

The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) in its role as the Joint Science and Technology Office (JSTO) for the Chemical and Biological Defense Program hosts the Fifth annual Chemical Biological Operational Analysis (CBOA) field experiment at Camp Dawson, West Virginia, 10 May 2023.

U.S. Joint Forces members evaluated approximately 30 counter-WMD technologies for form, fit and function, then provided critical user input directly to technology developers based on operator and adversarial perspectives.
