READOUT – Gen. Kurilla’s Visit to Saudi Arabia, May 13, 2022

SAUDI ARABIA  –  

U.S. Central Command’s commander, Gen. Erik Kurilla, met with Royal Saudi Chief of General Staff, Gen. Fayyad Al-Ruwaili at the Diriyah Joint Operations Center Wednesday, May 11, 2022.

The leaders reaffirmed the ironclad strategic defense relationship between the Royal Saudi Arabian Armed Forces and U.S. Central Command.

“I am very impressed with the modernization and transformation of the entire Royal Saudi Arabian Armed Forces,” Kurilla stated. “The Kingdom is poised for the future, and I look forward to a continued military partnership.”
