U.S. Central Command commander Gen. Frank McKenzie met with Minister of the Royal Office General Sultan bin Muhammed al Nu’amani, Ministry of Defense Secretary-General Dr. Mohammed bin Nasser bin Ali Al Zaabi, and the Sultan’s Armed Forces Chief of Staff Vice Admiral Abdullah bin Khamis bin Abdullah Al Raisi today.

The leaders discussed ways to strengthen security cooperation between the United States and Oman.

“Our discussions in Muscat showed the strength of the U.S.-Oman partnership in promoting regional stability and security,” McKenzie said.

During the visit, McKenzie also met with U.S. Ambassador to Oman Leslie Tsou and other members of the U.S. embassy staff.
