Helicopter accident near Kabul

KABUL, Afghanistan - A U.S. Black Hawk helicopter went down earlier this morning near Kabul.  The helicopter was en route to a medical evacuation mission.

The helicopter carried seven people aboard. The crew and passengers are safe and secure, and enemy activity was not involved.

The incident is under investigation.
