CJTF-OIR Reconsolidates assets in shift to Advise, Assist, Enable Posture

KUWAIT — Combined Joint Task Force-Operation Inherent Resolve continues to transition from a tactical combat role into one that meets the advise, assist, and enable mission needs for the Government of Iraq and partner forces in Syria.

Coalition forces strengthen close air support capabilities

ALI AL SALEM AIR BASE, KUWAIT — A joint coalition force recently trained together at Udairi Range, Kuwait, Oct. 20, 2021. U.S. Air Force tactical air control party (TACP) Airmen deployed to the 82nd Expeditionary Air Support Operations Squadron, along with the U.S. Army 1st Battalion 194th Armor Regiment joint fires observers (JFOs) in-training, and the Italian Air Force (Aeronautica Militare) Task Group Typhoon practiced close air support, fostering enduring partnerships and advancing its decisive combat dominance.

NAVCENT Task Force Completes First Unmanned Integration Exercise At Sea

NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY, BAHRAIN — On Oct. 26, U.S. Naval Forces Central Command (NAVCENT) completed exercise New Horizon, the first at-sea evolution for its new unmanned task force.

ISA TOWN, Bahrain (Oct. 16, 2021) Sailors assigned to U.S. Naval Forces Central Command and Coastguardsmen assigned to Patrol Forces Southwest Asia participate in a community relations (COMREL) event at Bahrain Mobility International (BMI) in Isa Town, Oct 16. NAVCENT Volunteers in Bahrain Community

NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY, BAHRAIN — Personnel assigned to U.S. Naval Forces Central Command (NAVCENT) participated in a community support event at Bahrain Mobility International (BMI) in Isa Town, Bahrain, Oct. 16.

Task Force Phoenix CEMA cell in the fight against adversary unmanned aerial systems

CAMP BUEHRING, KUWAIT — Coalition forces are countering adversary unmanned aerial systems (UAS) in the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) area of operations with a rapidly evolving set of tools and training.

The 111th Theater Engineer Brigade is excited to recognize a Hispanic-American Soldier who serves in our ranks and is a prime example of one who embodies the DoD and Army values. Sgt. 1st Class Glilberto Camacho is a Soldier in the 604th FEST-A, 111th Engineer Brigade who is proud of where he came from and celebrates his heritage every day.
