P-8A Poseidon supports missions in U.S. 5th Fleet

A P-8A Poseidon from the 'Mad Foxes' of Patrol Squadron (VP) 5 supported maritime operations in U.S. 5th Fleet under Commander, Task Force (CTF) 57, Feb. 24 to March 3. The first time a P-8A had deployed to U.S. 5th Fleet since 2016, the aircraft conducted missions spanning the area of operation in the Arabian Gulf, Strait of Hormuz, Gulf of Oman, Red Sea and Arabian Sea.

Intel chiefs tell Senate committee of dangers to America

WASHINGTON — These are dangerous times, and the threat of war is greater now than at any time since the end of the Cold War, the director of National Intelligence told the Senate Armed Services Committee.

Emerging security threats in the central region

Tampa, FL — Directors of Military Intelligence (DMI) from all seven Central and South Asia (CASA) nations and a cross section of America’s intelligence and academic community experts on Central and South Asia gathered at U.S. Central Command headquarters, Feb. 21-23.
