U.S. Bombs, Destroys Khorasan Group Stronghold in Afghanistan

KABUL, Afghanistan — U.S. Forces Afghanistan conducted a strike on an Islamic State of Iraq and Syria-Khorasan tunnel complex in the Achin district of Nangarhar province, Afghanistan, as part of ongoing efforts to defeat ISIS-K in Afghanistan.

U.S. and Gulf Cooperation Council forces conduct the culminating field-training event of exercise Eagle Resolve 2017, April 6, in Kuwait’s Shuwaikh Port. Eagle Resolve is the premier multi-national exercise in the Gulf region.

Multinational forces wrap-up exercise Eagle Resolve 2017 in Kuwait

KUWAIT CITY, KUWAIT — U.S. and Gulf Cooperation Council forces stormed Kuwait’s Shuwaikh Port in a demonstration of interoperability, April 6, in the final event of exercise Eagle Resolve 2017.

Congressmen from three states visited Soldiers from their congressional districts to learn about the ongoing fight against ISIS. Brig. Gen. John Epperly, the Deputy Commander of the 29th Infantry Division, Task Force Spartan, escorted the delegation as they received a briefing on Operations Spartan Shield and Inherent Resolve. Spokesman: Counter-ISIS Forces Make Gains in Raqqa, Mosul

WASHINGTON — U.S., coalition and partner forces are edging toward victory in the campaign to defeat Islamic State of Iraq and Syria terrorists in and around Raqqa, Syria, and Mosul, Iraq, the Combined Joint Task Force Operation Inherent Resolve spokesman told reporters.

Mattis: ‘No Doubt’ Syrian Regime Responsible for Chemical Attacks on Citizens

WASHINGTON — Defense Secretary Jim Mattis said he personally reviewed the intelligence on the Syrian regime’s chemical attack on its own people and in response to the attack, the U.S. government began a deliberate process to recommend diplomatic and military options to the president.

The MQ-1C Gray Eagle is a long-endurance platform able to fly for nearly 27 hours at a time at speeds of up to 150 knots while carrying up to four AGM-114 Hellfire missiles. Shaping the information war: Military information combats propaganda

AL UDEID AIR BASE, Qatar — In their quest to impose their will on others with malicious and destructive intent, ISIS have exerted their negative messages continuously through the use of media platforms like radio, television, newspapers, magazines and the internet.

Day Zero: Journey to earn Air Assault wings

CAMP BUEHRING, Kuwait — Hundreds of Soldiers, Airmen and Marines came from miles away to fulfill a dream. Their journey is not easy, it requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to handle heavy equipment, while under duress. Thus, upon successful completion of day zero, candidates can then call themselves ‘Air Assault Students.’
