Vietnam era VMA-225 Marines visit USCENTCOM

Managing crowded skies, active airfields

CAMP BUEHRING, Kuwait — The Soldiers from Company F, 2-149th General Support Aviation Battalion, 29th Combat Aviation Brigade, manage multiple airfields and provide the technical expertise to manage the crowded skies above Kuwait and Iraq.

General cites Iraqi forces' confidence, ability in liberating Qaim

WASHINGTON — Air Force Brig. Gen. Andrew A. Croft, Inherent Resolve deputy commander for air, congratulated the Iraqi security forces for driving the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria out of Qaim, and largely out of Iraq.

Soldiers with the Romanian Armed Forces trained with Task Force Marauder on hot and cold-load procedures for a casualty on a UH-60 Black Hawk, Nov. 6, 2017, in order to know how to safely load a patient in the event of a real-world emergency in Afghanistan where TF Marauder MEDEVAC responds. TF Marauder is made up of Soldiers from South Carolina National Guard, Illinois National Guard, Iowa National Guard, as well as active duty component and provides aviation capabilities with AH64 Apaches, UH60 Black Hawks, CH47 Chinooks, and MEDEVAC assets in Afghanistan under the 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade while deployed. Task Force Marauder conducts patient load training with Romanian Armed Forces

'The Long Road Home' to healing: New miniseries focuses on Soldiers' experiences in Iraq
