MACDILL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. – Army Maj. Gen. Robert G. Catalanotti, U.S. Central Command director of exercises and training; Kuwaiti Maj. Gen. Abdulrazaq Al-Awadhi, Kuwait Armed Forces assistant chief of staff for operations and plans; and Air Force Brig. Gen. Rick B. Mattson, Office of Military Cooperation-Kuwait, attend a signing ceremony Oct. 31, 2013 at the Kuwait Ministry of Defense, where the Kuwait Armed Forces officially agreed to host exercise Eagle Resolve 2015, marking the first time Kuwait will host a large U.S. multilateral exercise. This event kicked off the 12-14 month exercise life cycle, where CENTCOM component commands will all have key functional roles in both the planning and execution of this exercise. Eagle Resolve is scheduled to occur during the first quarter of 2015, and has the potential to involve up to 35 partner nations. The exercise is CENTCOM’s premier multi-warfare exercise within the Arabian Peninsula.
