NAVCENT Volunteers in Bahrain Community

NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY, BAHRAIN — Personnel assigned to U.S. Naval Forces Central Command (NAVCENT) participated in a community support event at Bahrain Mobility International (BMI) in Isa Town, Bahrain, Oct. 16.

Task Force Phoenix CEMA cell in the fight against adversary unmanned aerial systems

Task Force Phoenix passes halfway point on 9-month Middle East mission

CAMP BUEHRING, Kuwait — The Soldiers of Task Force Phoenix have endured intense heat with highs reaching above 120-degrees for nearly four months straight while conducting operations in five Middle Eastern nations.

Austin, Milley: No Debate About Courage, Commitment of Americans Who Served in Afghanistan

How the Afghanistan conflict ended must not obscure the pride Americans should have for the men and women who fought there, Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III told the Senate Armed Services Committee today. "As a veteran of the war, I am personally reckoning with all of that," the secretary said during testimony about the war's last days and the evacuation of 124,000 people from Kabul. "But I hope … that we do not allow a debate about how this war ended to cloud our pride in the way that our people fought it."

Israeli and U.S. Warships Conduct Milestone Maritime Patrol

U.S. NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY BAHRAIN — Ships from the Israeli Navy and U.S. Naval Forces Central Command (NAVCENT) conducted a combined maritime security patrol in the Red Sea, Aug. 30-31. Four Israeli and U.S. Navy ships sailed together in the Gulf of Aqaba as the U.S. Department of Defense shifted Israel from U.S. European Command to U.S. Central Command’s area of responsibility.
