Afghan Interpreter Earns Elite Title as U.S. Marine

Nadir graduated from recruit training on May 26, 2017, and will train to become an infantryman. Nadir moved to the United States in 2014 with a Special Immigrant Visa after working for three years as an interpreter with the International Security Assistance Force in the Sangin District of Helmand province, Afghanistan.
