The CENTCOM Family Center opened effective March 31, 2017. The Family Readiness Program applies to all personnel assigned to the command regardless of marital status, because there are many activities for everyone. We believe your participation into the program will provide you and your love ones with valuable service, support programs and information of events within MacDill AFB and around the local area.

The Family Program and Family Readiness team is here to assist with a multitude of military and civilian inquiries. Our goals is to act as your liaison to the community in providing the best assistance in all matters of life to ensure an optimal state of resiliency and readiness. Individuals needing assistance may visit the Resource Center or reach us via the contact information on this page.
Educational Opportunities and Developmental Workshops
The Center offers a variety of presentations to share information and resources on subjects of interest to CENTCOM members and families. These workshops, briefing and educational opportunities are typically held at the CENTCOM Family Center and facilitated by subject matter experts. Reservations are required for seating, please check our monthly calendar for opportunities.
Military & Family Life Counseling Program
We have an embedded MFLC Counselor in the center. MFLC offers free non-clinical/non-medical counseling for individuals, couples, families, staffs, and groups. Our counselor can help with life skills and military lifestyles such as communication skills, anger management, coping skills, relocation adjustment, bereavement, conflict resolution, occupational stress, stress management, family dynamics, child behavior, family separation, and relationships (813) 557-2208.
Volunteers
Volunteers are always needed to help with our Family Readiness Program.
Volunteers help with morale events, classes, welcome visitors, activities, and much more. We utilize the Volunteer Management Information System to track volunteer hours and support the bright futures initiative for our teen volunteers. If interested, please email your contact information to
