U.S. Airmen, assigned to the 3rd Wing, participated in exercise Patriot Grizzly and joint exercise Winter Fury at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, San Diego, Calif. from Jan. 5, 2020 through Feb. 14, 2020. Both exercises enabled Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska aircrew and pilots to practice standardized tactics through consistent flying.
