Brig. Gen. Mike Wickman, deputy commanding general of 34th Red Bull Infantry Division, talks to Fox Sports North reporter about their current mission in Kuwait.

Brigadier General Mike Wickman serves as the Deputy Commanding General for Operations of the Minnesota National Guard's 34th Red Bull Infantry Division. In this position he is the primary adviser to the Division Commander for operations. When not deployed, Wickman serves as the Assistant Adjutant General - Army, for the Minnesota National Guard. In this position he serves as the primary assistant to Minnesota's Adjutant General with overall responsibility and oversight of more than 1,400 full-time employees of the Minnesota National Guard, directly supervises the Staff Directors of the Joint Force Headquarters, and is responsible for the readiness of the organization to conduct civil support operations.
