U.S. Soldiers assigned to 3rd Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment utilize multiple counter-unmanned aerial systems during Project Flytrap at Joint Multinational Readiness Center, Hohenfels Training Area, Hohenfels, Germany, June 6, 2025. Project Flytrap involves the application of new technologies alongside our NATO allies that test the capabilities of new, lower-cost and portable technology against adversary drone threats. (00:06-00:35) U.S. Soldiers assigned to “Lightning Troop”, 3rd Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment, arrive in Strykers during Project Flytrap at Joint Multinational Readiness Center, Hohenfels Training Area, Hohenfels, Germany, June 6, 2025.
(00:35-01:09) Soldiers set up the Titan counter-unmanned aerial system, a UAS threat detector and jammer.
(01:10-01:44) Soldiers establish the EchoShield cognitive radar, a medium-range radar that detects frequencies of unmanned aerial systems and provides ground-force Soldiers with real-time location data on their end-user devices.
(01:45-01:48) Soldier establishes a visual display of real-time radar data.
(01:48-02:00) Soldiers set up a connection to view real-time UAS location data on their Nett Warrior End User Devices.
