U.S. Army Soldiers from America's First Corps participate in weapons and medical lanes during the 2025 I Corps Best Squad competition at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, June 10, 2025. The Best Squad competition tests the Soldier's skills, endurance, leadership, and teamwork. During the Best Squad Competition, Soldiers are assessed in their ability to execute warrior tasks and battle drills, marksmanship, and land navigation, as well as their ability to work as a disciplined and cohesive team.
