U.S. Army Central and Kuwait Cyber Operations Directorate and Armed Forces Conduct Bilateral Cyber Defense Training
U.S. Army Central
May 23, 2023 | 1:05
U.S. Army Col. Linda J. Riedel, the Deputy G6 for U.S. Army Central Forward, talks about the joint U.S. Army and Kuwait Cyber Operations Directorate and Armed Forces Soldier cyber defense training, at ARCENT University, on Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, May 23, 2023. This bilateral cyber defense training, the first of its kind, will culminate in an incident response exercise with the Kuwait Armed Forces and U.S. Army Soldiers. Training is geared toward cyber awareness, cyber defense, change management, military decision-making process, and phases of incident response. With an increasing demand for the internet and rapid technology development, cyber defense is crucial to achieve mission tasks and objectives in the U.S. Army Central Area of Responsibility and ensures a mutually beneficial partnership with the Kuwait Armed Forces.
