U.S. Marine Corps recruits with Alpha Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, conduct an 8-kilometer hike at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, July 15, 2025. The purpose of the hike is to condition the recruits to rigorous terrain on Camp Pendleton in preparation for their 13-kilometer hike and culminating event, the Crucible.
