A Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter aircrew medevaced a 62-year-old man from a research vessel approximately 165 miles south of Port Fourchon, Louisiana, May 9, 2024. The aircrew arrived on-scene, hoisted the man aboard the helicopter, and transported him to awaiting emergency medical services personnel at University Medical Center in New Orleans.
