Fort Meade community and TRICARE beneficiaries received COVID-19 and flu vaccines during a vaccination drive held Oct. 28 at the McGill Training Center, Fort Meade, Maryland. Beneficiaries had the option of receiving both vaccines at the same time, if needed, as it is safe to receive both shots at the same time. Vaccines are one of the most effective ways to improve public health, prevent communicable diseases, and reach community-level immunity. (Defense Health Agency video created by Michelle Gonzalez)
