The United States and Kyrgyzstan concluded Exercise Regional Cooperation (RC) in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan on Wednesday.
The exercise included more than 280 representatives from the United States, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan.
The purpose of RC was to enhance positive military-to-military relationships, regional security, stability and cooperation among participating nations. The scenarios focused on disaster and crisis response through enhanced military-military and military-civilian relationships to help build regional security.
RC is the only multilateral U.S. Central Command exercise in Central Asia and has taken place annually since 2004.
