SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. –
Ninth Air Force (Air Forces Central) is hosting an AFCENT Innovation Day on Feb. 15 at the Carolina Skies Club at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina.
This will be a one-day event with an opportunity for defense, intelligence, communications, and technology companies to host a booth and offer capabilities or solutions for air domain awareness, counter-UAS threats, joint targeting, and communications in degraded environments.
Also, there will be a luncheon sponsored by Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) mid-day with a guest speaker on innovation, as well as a social. For the opportunity to provide industry solutions to the above problems, a capability statement will be required by Jan. 26. Notifications to selected organizations will be made by Feb. 2. If selected, during industry day, your company can brief a private government audience. Due to venue space limitations, there can only be 20 booths and capability statements will be reviewed to determine which companies AFCENT approves to have a booth. Companies which are not approved to have a booth may still attend. Notifications to selected organizations will be made by Feb. 2.
