The Coalition recognizes Women’s History Month

By CJTF-OIR Public Affairs

March is Women’s History Month. On social media, we profiled several women from across the Coalition who support our partners in Iraq and Syria in the mission to defeat Daesh remnants.

“Women, military and civilian, are essential to our Coalition's success. Throughout the Coalition, women have key roles, such as helicopter pilots, combat engineers, special operations, military police, cultural advisors, medical professionals, artillery leaders, campaign planners, computer technicians, logisticians, and many more. We have greater capability, credibility, and lethality due to the dedication of these women and the men that serve beside them.” - UK Major General GM Strickland, CJTF-OIR Deputy Commander, Strategy
