ANDSF raise flag, rename traffic circle in Nawa district center
U.S. Marines with Task Force Southwest fire a non-explosive illumination round from an 81mm mortar to deter enemy activity at Camp Shorserack, Afghanistan, July 15, 2017. Advisors assigned to the Task Force assisted their Afghan National Defense and Security Force partners complete Operation Maiwand Four, which saw elements of the Afghan National 215th Corps, 505th Zone National Police and other forces successfully clear the Nawa district center of insurgents.
