US, UK Complete Mine Identification and Exploitation Exercise 2017
Members of the Royal Fleet Auxiliary, crane an 11-meter rigid-hull inflatable boat into the ocean off of Royal Fleet Auxiliary landing ship dock RFA Cardigan Bay (L3009)during Mine Identification and Exploitation Exercise (MIE-EX) 2017. MIE-EX 2017 is a bilateral exercise that provides an opportunity for relevant and realistic training, strengthening the U.S.-U.K. relationship as our forces work together to refine and develop mine countermeasures methods and tactics.
