Explosion in Kabul

KABUL, Afghanistan (Jan. 17, 2009) - An explosion occurred earlier this morning near Camp Eggers.  One U.S. service member died from wounds received today.  Six U.S. service members and one U.S. civilian were also wounded. Reports indicate a suicide vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (SVBIED) was the cause of the incident. The incident is under investigation.
