Air Force chief of staff visits Pakistan

Gen. Norton Schwartz, U.S. Air Force Chief of Staff, renders a salute at the Martyr's Monument at Pakistan Air Force Headquarters in Islamabad. The general placed a wreath at the monument during his visit to PAF headquarters today to honor the sacrifices made by Pakistan's security forces and citizens in their courageous fight against violent extremists.
ISLAMABAD (June 26, 2010) – U.S. Air Force Gen. Norton Schwartz, U.S. Air Force Chief of Staff, visited the Pakistan Air Force Headquarters here today and met with Air Chief Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman, Pakistan Air Force Chief of Air Staff, and other senior PAF officials.

During his visit, the general placed a wreath on the PAF Martyrs’ Monument to honor the sacrifices made by Pakistan’s security forces and citizens in their fight against violent extremists.
